After a lot of playing around with the rosters and testing the gameplay, we’ve come to the conclusion that we want to start in 1983 and progress from there. We’ve got many draft classes already built into the future, so there’s plenty of players already to play around with starting in 1983 and beyond.
Last night, I worked on the roster with a friend of mine. He made a player, King Domoeezzzzyyyy, with an overall rating of 84 as a rookie. We added him to the Bulls because they were a young team with no superstar. He’s a Playmaking Mid-Range Slasher and Finisher playing from the Shooting Guard spot. We watched him play for a few minutes and realized how fun this young Bulls team would be with a competent Point Guard. So, we added Ronald McDonald to the squad.
Ronald McDonald is one of my players that I’ve played as since 2k19. He’s a Sharpshooting Point Guard with a chip on his shoulder coming from New England. When making him, I envisioned him as being a New England Fuck Boi who wears Vineyard Vines and Ralph Lauren. He “suffers” from Affluenza and takes his dad’s yacht for joy rides every spring break.
He’s a fun guy to play as but not a fun guy to be around, I imagine.
I’ll have to add his evil twin Donald McRonald to the league as well, see how they compete.
So, starting in 1983, I will play as Ronald McDonald and try to succeed with a Bulls team that is very young and skilled but untested. There’s still some work to do building out the roster and getting it ready to go live on Twitch and YouTube, but I’m very very excited to get started very soon.
